Material: Made from high-purity flexible graphite braided into a yarn.
Construction: Braided without any binders or wire reinforcement, making it very flexible and easy to install.
Properties: Offers excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance (pH 0-14), low friction, and high thermal conductivity. It is also self-lubricating and does not harden over time.
Performance: Creates a virtually leak-free seal that becomes denser as the gland follower is adjusted, allowing for easy re-tightening and adding new rings if needed.
Applications: A versatile packing for pumps, valves, and other rotating or reciprocating equipment in industries like hydrocarbon processing, power generation, and pulp and paper. It can handle steam, water, fuels, chemicals, and oils.
