Teadit Style 2006 is a braided packing made from pure expanded PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) yarn, specifically designed for high-performance sealing applications, especially in food processing, due to its FDA and USDA compliance. It is a pliable yet firm material, treated with a proprietary food-grade lubricant and mineral filler, which provides excellent chemical resistance, a low coefficient of friction, and improved heat transfer. This construction results in less shaft wear and better sealability with minimal gland pressure adjustments, making it suitable for high-speed rotary shafts and centrifugal equipment.
