Teadit Tealon TF1580 Gaskets

Teadit Tealon TF1580 is an off-white, restructured PTFE gasket material filled with barium sulfate. Engineered to eliminate the cold-flow issues typical of standard PTFE, it handles highly aggressive chemicals and is chemically inert across a full pH range of 0-14.

Technical Specifications

Physical Properties: Density of 2.90 g/cm3 (ASTM D792), 4 to 10% compressibility (ASTM F36), (40%) recovery (ASTM F36), and 2,030 psi tensile strength (ASTM F152).
Performance: Features 15% creep relaxation (ASTM F38) and 0.04 ml/h sealability (ASTM F37A).
Chemical Resistance: Composed of barium sulfate-filled PTFE, it is suitable for strong caustics, acids, and gases, but not molten alkali metals.
Approvals: FDA/EC 1935/2004 compliant, suitable for oxygen, and certified to TA Luft (VDI 2440), BAM, and ABS standards
