Garlock Blue-Gard 3000 is a compressed fiber gasket material made with aramid fibers and an NBR binder. Gaskets made with this material provide improved torque retention and drastically lower emission levels. Gasketwholesale currently offers Garlock Blue-Gard in 1/16" and 1/8" thick 150#/300# ring gaskets as well as 150# Full Face versions. For other styles and designs contact us for a quote!

Composition:

Aramid fibers: These are high-strength fibers, similar to those in Kevlar, that provide the gasket's strength.

NBR: (nitrile rubber) binder: This rubber holds the fibers together and provides the elasticity and compressibility needed for a good seal.
