Garlock Gylon 3510 Material
Gylon 3510 product data sheet:
Garlock 3510 is a high-performance, barium sulfate-filled PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) gasket material designed for sealing applications involving harsh chemicals and extreme temperatures. It is commonly used for strong caustics, moderate acids, chlorine, and steam, and has a wide operating temperature range from (-450F) to (500F) (-268C) to (260C). The material's unique manufacturing process minimizes cold flow and improves bolt torque retention, making it suitable for applications where a tight seal is critical.
